It was a very eventful one week, and fortunately most of it was ok. His tube was replaced on a Monday instead as it was started to get infected pretty badly. He can walk with a stick now and after some therapy he can start swallowing without the aid of a tube, although it may take a while to consume solids.
Many people I met during therapy sessions and visiting relatives say he is very fortunate. Even my local GP says so. For a burst vein in the head, it means certain death but fortunately for him is just a limp arm and leg. Very fortunate indeed.
He is healing well and is taken care by my mum and my maternal 5th aunt. Yup, my mum has many sisters. She is still in Malacca taking up the responsibility as a filial child, while I am now in Subang once more taking care of my own father, or sort of. Well, some one needs to clean house while he is at work.
I might pop back to Malacca once more for a visit to keep his spirits up. And until then I guess thats all I have to say about him. After all, I am not the patient so my story can only go so far.
Cherioo.
