A phenomenon that captured the hearts of millions and not to mention their loose change as well. It contributed to small joint arthritis. But thats ok, after you knew you were much better than the noobface that was next to you whom just wasted his 20 sen.

Years have passed and later, the Alpha series was born. with that new characters and new fighting styles tagged along. A good breath of air but alas, it did not bring about the same degree of hype that its predecessor once had. With more focus on story telling and a good roster of characters, it was one of the better reincarnations.

So it later was brought into the future, where a whole new roster was introduced. But alas, due to the popularity of Ken, Ryu and Akuma, they were placed into the game as well. And the third strike says you are out (note: pun intended)

And finally everything has hit full circle and in the palm of my hand, or more correctly, the disc in my DVD drive lies :STREET FIGHTER 4!!!!
yes peeps, I have finally bought me a copy of SF4. RM 199 well spent if you ask me. I have already unlocked Fei Long, but in the cheap way. And indeed, I am having a good time. But one thing is for sure you really need a powerful system. My crazy ass gamer laptop can only handle minimum settings and it took me a great length of time for me to set everything up. But all is well. Moves a re fluid and the keyboard responded like how an arcade stick would have. Good character development and a great soundtrack for the whole game as well. Although I have to say Seth is the craziest boss I have every fought. Crazier that Yuri, Sanctus, Bison, Dural, Devil, Bowzer.....the list goes on.
I tried one of the new guys: Abel. He is a powerful character. But he is a chainer, a character that follows hit by hit of separate moves and chain into a combo. I am a striker so eventually, Sagat and Ken were my mainstays, and they became so once again.
Sorry to say that I have no screenshots on my fighting journeys, as the action was so intense, its hard to pull away to press the button. Now if you excuse me, I have to kick Seth in the face once more.
